Bent Broom

I found this bent broom that my neighbor in Toronto was planning on throwing out. I faxed several broom manufacturers to see if anyone could fix it, but no one agreed to do it. I then also tried see if anyone would consider manufacturing a bent broom, but again, no one could.
One person who responded said he couldn’t help with the broom, but he thanked me for the drawing in the fax, which is what led to my making increasingly elaborate drawings for faxes.
I made several copies of the bent broom by steaming broom handles and bending them, and I put them in a temporary display in front of Ralph’s Hardware on College Street in Toronto.
I also steamed the original bent broom straight and put it back in my neighbor’s yard where I found it.
