Your Hard Work Will Soon Pay Off

While working away on my project “Things Fall Apart”, I ordered take-out from a Chinese food restaurant across the street from where I live one night. My fortune said “Your hard work will soon pay off”, which I thought was nice timing.
So I drew 300 pen on paper copies of the fortune, front and back - the back had the French translation - and displayed them in the group exhibition Nothing to Declare at the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery. Curated by Helena Reckitt.
