Drips

I made a series of porcelain drips for the “Mini-Mart” section of Under New Management, a temporary exhibition/store curated by Su-Ying Lee and Suzanne Carte-Blanchenot in Toronto. This project was inspired by both the debris and waste from past ceramics projects of mine, as well as the numerous mass-produced and ridiculously cheap ceramic objects I often come across in dollar stores and thrift shops, etc.
Pictured here are the drips seen as displayed in Under New Management, studio photos of the drips in progress, (including the original drips I made from beeswax, which I then made plaster piece molds of for casting in porcelain), a group of drips after they were fired and glazed, and several close-up views of individual drips.
These drips are now available through Art Metropole in Toronto.
