For the month of March I will be doing the SIMRES Nordic and Baltic Artist-in-Residence Program in Reykjavik, Iceland.

From July 5th to 24th I will be exhibiting some porcelain drips in the “Mini-Mart” exhibition for ‘Under New Management’, at 780 Queen Street West. Curated by Su-Ying Lee and Suzanne Carte-Blanchenot.
I will be doing an artist residency at The Bruno Arts Bank in Bruno, Saskatchewan, beginning in the fall of 2010.

A marble sculpture I did in 2003 called ‘Unfinished Basket’ was recently installed on the grounds of Capilano University in North Vancouver, BC, near the Birch Building. (Thanks to Ken Barbour for the photos.)

Here are some images and info on an Ilgvars Steins exhibition. Ilgvars is an 85 year old artist I met while doing a residency in Dawson City, Yukon. The link is to a blog posting by his son John Steins, who I worked with to help organize a retrospective exhibition of the past 6 decades of Ilgvars’ work.
